The theme above was the focus of the seminar which was held at JPWP auditorium on 21st July 2007. The purpose of the seminar is to evaluate a collaborative approach for means of PIBG working with Education Ministry for the benefit of the student's overall development apart from the intellectual faculty to enable a wholesome education approach such as spiritual, emotional and physical development.
9th July 2007 - Prefects Installation
Prefects Installation Day is both a happy as well as a heartrending occasion as it marks a day for promotion for new prefects and new school head prefect as well as departure for 5th former prefects which have served the school well for the past few years.
The girls look smart in their purple coats and a well delivered speech was made by the former school head prefect giving good word of advice to her heir.
30th June 2007 - Jogathon Fund Raising Project
As part of the initiative to raise fund for the purpose of upgrading the school field and improve the drainage system, PIBG and the school has organized a Jogathon Project which was held on Taman Tasek Permaisuri, Bandar Tun Razak on 30th June 2007.
25th May 2007 - Teacher's Day
Teacher's Day was celebrated at the end of the second school term. The theme instilled is "Guru Penjana Modal Insan Gemilang" ie Teacher being a generator for glorious individual model !
This was truly an awesome day, firstly because it marks the end of the second school term, secondly, the students and teachers alike have a great time together participating in dances and games. It also provides the opportunity for the students to show appreciation to their beloved teachers.
One occasion which touched me the most, was to see students composing poem designed beautifully as book mark to present as gift to their beloved teachers. My ! These students are really talented.
Not to mention, the food was really mouth watering. As a parent and PIBG committee, I must say the experience is truly worth the time spent and a precious memory to keep.
2nd March 2007 - Temasya Sukan Tahunan ke-93
SMK (P) Pudu 93rd Annual Sports event was held at Stadium Tun Razak. It was with great honor that Puan Kok Lee Wah, the newly elected school Board of Directors Chairman, officiates the opening ceremony of this special event.
Puan Kok was a former student of SMK (P) Pudu formerly known as Pudu English Secondary School (PESS). The speech she delivered impressed upon the students on the importance of extra-curricular activities which contributes to the overall development in terms of emotional and social capabilities which brings about benefit to the students when they graduate as contributor to the society.
The event commence with the parade from the Uniform bodies as well as the House march. Each team dressed creatively and presented their well-prepared show of the day. Not forgetting, PIBG and parents chip in to show their support to this excited bunch of students !
What really caught my attention was the team work shown by these girls during the parade as well as the beautiful and creative movements done by the School Cheer Leaders. You can be rest assured that these girls put in a lot of effort to make this a memorable day indeed.
Overall, it is a very successful event. Thanks to the teachers and students whom spent their time on lots of practice preparing for this special day.
